Curvularia lunata Ab.IgG

This test detects IgG antibodies against Curvularia lunata, an environmental mold species. Elevated IgG antibodies indicate past or current exposure to this fungus, which commonly grows in soil and decaying plant material. Curvularia can trigger allergic and respiratory symptoms in sensitive individuals. Unlike IgE antibodies (immediate allergic reactions), IgG indicates longer-term mold exposure and immune sensitization. This test helps identify mold-related allergies in patients with chronic respiratory symptoms or recurrent infections.
