Trichoderma viride Ab.IgE

This test detects IgE antibodies against Trichoderma viride, a mold that grows in damp environments. Mold allergies are triggered by inhaling mold spores and can cause symptoms similar to pollen allergies, including sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes. Some individuals may experience more severe respiratory symptoms like wheezing or asthma exacerbation. A positive result indicates an allergic sensitivity to this mold species.
