Cheese mold type Ab.IgG4

This test detects IgG4 antibodies against molds commonly found on cheese (such as Penicillium species). IgG4 antibodies suggest chronic or repeated exposure to cheese mold allergens. This test may be relevant for food workers, cheese makers, or people with occupational mold exposure. Elevated IgG4 can indicate an allergic or hypersensitivity response. Testing is typically ordered when investigating occupational allergies or food-related allergic symptoms.

Periplaneta americana Ab.IgG4

This test measures IgG4 antibodies to American cockroach allergens, a different immune response than the IgE-mediated allergies. IgG4 antibodies may indicate chronic or repeated exposure to cockroach allergens. Elevated IgG4 levels can be associated with allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, or atopic dermatitis triggered by cockroach exposure. This marker is useful in diagnosing cockroach allergies and assessing the effectiveness of allergen avoidance or immunotherapy treatments over time.

Stachybotrys chartarum Ab.IgA

Stachybotrys chartarum is a mold that can grow in damp indoor environments. This test detects IgA antibodies—immune proteins your body produces in response to exposure to this mold. Elevated IgA antibodies suggest current or recent exposure to Stachybotrys, often from water-damaged buildings or poor ventilation. This test may be ordered if you suspect mold exposure or experience respiratory symptoms linked to indoor air quality problems.

Cheese mold type Ab.IgG

This test detects IgG antibodies against molds commonly used in cheese production (such as Penicillium roqueforti in blue cheese). IgG antibodies indicate past or ongoing exposure to cheese molds, which can trigger allergic or hypersensitivity reactions in sensitive individuals. Elevated cheese mold-specific IgG may cause symptoms including respiratory reactions, gastrointestinal upset, or systemic inflammation when consuming affected cheeses. This test helps identify mold allergies contributing to food reactions and guides dietary choices. People with mold sensitivities or repeated reactions after eating certain cheeses benefit from this testing.

(Cat dander+Cow dander+Dog dander+Horse dander) Ab.IgE.RAST class

This test detects IgE antibodies against dander from multiple animals—cats, cows, dogs, and horses. Animal dander allergies are common and can cause symptoms ranging from mild (sneezing, itchy eyes) to severe (asthma attacks, anaphylaxis). A positive result on this panel test indicates sensitivity to one or more of these animals. Further testing may pinpoint which specific animal(s) trigger your allergies, helping you make informed decisions about pet ownership or occupational exposure.

Periplaneta americana Ab.IgE

This test detects IgE antibodies against American cockroach allergens in your blood. IgE is an immune protein produced when your body reacts to a substance it perceives as threatening. If present, it indicates you have or may develop an allergic reaction to cockroach exposure, which can trigger asthma, allergic rhinitis, or skin reactions. Cockroach allergies are common in urban environments and can worsen indoor air quality sensitivity. This test helps guide avoidance strategies and allergy management.

(Cat dander+Cow dander+Dog dander+Horse dander) Ab.IgE

This panel test screens for IgE antibodies against common animal danders from cats, cows, dogs, and horses using a multi-disk format for efficiency. The qualitative results indicate whether you have allergic sensitization to these animals. Animal allergies are among the most common allergens, causing symptoms like sneezing, congestion, itching, and asthma exacerbation. Positive results help identify which animals trigger symptoms and guide decisions about pet ownership and exposure avoidance.

Stachybotrys chartarum Ab.IgG

This test detects IgG antibodies against Stachybotrys chartarum (black mold), a fungus found in water-damaged buildings. Unlike IgE antibodies which indicate allergic reactions, IgG antibodies suggest past or ongoing exposure to this mold. Some people exposed to Stachybotrys experience health symptoms, though scientific evidence linking this mold to specific illnesses remains limited. This test may be ordered in cases of suspected mold exposure or when investigating potential indoor air quality problems. Results should be interpreted with clinical symptoms and environmental findings.

Cheese mold type Ab.IgE

This test detects IgE antibodies to molds commonly found in aged cheeses, indicating an allergic response. A positive result suggests potential allergy to cheese molds, which could cause symptoms ranging from itching or swelling of the mouth to severe reactions. Mold allergies from cheese are relatively uncommon but important to identify. This test helps confirm suspected mold allergies and guides dietary choices, particularly regarding blue cheese, aged cheddar, and other mold-ripened varieties.

Blatella germanica Ab.IgE

This test detects IgE antibodies against cockroach allergens in your blood. IgE is an immune protein your body produces when it encounters substances you're allergic to. A positive result suggests you have a cockroach allergy, which can trigger asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever-like symptoms), or skin reactions when exposed to cockroach proteins or droppings. This test is useful for confirming suspected allergies before implementing avoidance strategies or starting allergy treatment.
